But as always seems to be the case, things don't go quite as planned, and after attacks from pirates and the rebirth of an ancient High Wizard, they find their ship sinking with no land in sight.With the help of a mysterious ancient-dragon-turned-young-boy named Kouryu, they manage to escape the damaged vessel and just make it to shore in time. But as they continue on their journey to the Empire of Ent in search of the Sage Yoshifumi and the Philosopher's Stone he possesses, they are met with new obstacles as the twin goddesses Malna and Rilna finally begin to take measures to deal with Yogiri...sort of.

Having reached the island nation of Ent, Yogiri and Tomochika continued their pursuit of the Sage Yoshifumi and his Philosopherâs Stone, which led them into the Elven Forest. The forest proved to be more than meets the eye, however, as they discover that the space within it is warped and twisted, leaving them hopelessly lost with no clue as to how to escape. And while thanks to the machinations of a certain vulgar classmate they can hopefully say goodbye to the meddling of Malnarilna, it doesnât take long before all sorts of other troublemakers start turning their attention towards the hapless pair, making their impossible journey through the Elven Forest even harder. And, wait, where did we leave those other three Philosopherâs Stones again...?

Though Yogiri and Tomochika successfully managed to make their way to the mysterious continent of Belm, their success has come with a few drawbacks. As their companions are scattered across the continent, the duo (and their ghostly advisor, Mokomoko) soon find themselves caught up in the extensive warfare between Belmâs four factions. Yogiriâs abilities mean that they are safe from direct harm, but the bizarre system of laws governing the continent have left them in a position where even traveling around seems all but impossible. Somehow, they must find a way to reunite with their lost companions, find the Sage governing Belm, and retrieve his Philosopherâs Stone, all while dealing with the escalating response from the natives to Yogiriâs defensive powers. And waitâhow did they get onto this island floating in the sky anyway?

Yogiri and Tomochika have made it through the game of Cavern Quest and now approach the last boss, “Lasbo.” Much to their surprise, Lasbo’s true identity is not that of a monster, but the other parties who’ve undertaken the same quest alongside them. Much to Van’ssurprise, the seven Philosopher’s Stones—keys to last boss’s area—have multiplied into hundreds, throwing the game’s conclusion into utter chaos. As he attempts to salvage what remains of his game, the Great Sage himself appears to observe the grand finale with his own eyes. Yogiri and Tomochika were hoping to finish Cavern Quest quickly in order to return to the surface and resume their search for a way home, but now that the Great Sage is involved, that’s going to be far more complicated than they ever imagined.

After the Great Sage resets the world, Yogiri and Tomochika are forced into Van’s new game in order to obtain the Philosopher’s Stones—their only lead for getting home now that Luu is gone. Although Yogiri can’t use his power without breaking the game, Tomochika’s combat prowess and the old friends they made along the way may be just enough to get them to the final boss. Everyone’s in for a surprise, however, when the Philosopher’s Stones start disappearing from the game...including the stones the party’s collected so far! To make matters worse, the Great Sage finally makes a move against Yogiri while they’re coming to grips with the missing stones!

With the vast majority of Luu’s powers restored and the UEG dead, Yogiri and Tomochika are on the verge of finally making it back home. However, in order to undo the damage wrought by the UEG’s rampage, the Great Sage resets the entire world to the moment Yogiri’s class was first summoned. While the people Yogiri killed remain dead, everyone else is brought back to life, including Sion, the Sage responsible for summoning his class in the first place. Having retained her memories of her previous encounter with Yogiri, she agrees to help him and Tomochika collect the Philosopher’s Stones once again. While things seem poised to go more smoothly this time with her assistance, it doesn’t take long for another Sage’s carelessness to throw the entire world into a brand new kind of chaos.

But itâs no easy task locating the next Sage on their list, and they discover that even getting into this new territory might be trickier than they first thought. Meanwhile, an ancient goddess awakens in the ruins of Entâs capital and swears to take revenge on the world that dared to imprison her by exterminating all life, one person at a time.
