A Critical Analysis of the National Education Policy 2020 in India: Perspectives from PhD Scholars

Abstract: This study explores the perspectives of PhD scholars in India regarding the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Using a qualitative approach, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 40 scholars from diverse academic disciplines to assess their awareness, perceived opportunities, challenges, and expectations concerning NEP 2020. The results indicate a significant gender disparity in awareness levels, with 35% of male participants reporting high awareness compared to 25% of females, while 40% of female scholars expressed a lack of awareness. Participants identified opportunities such as the promotion of research culture and interdisciplinary studies, but also highlighted challenges including lack of implementation strategies and inadequate research infrastructure. The study found that NEP 2020 is anticipated to positively impact research culture, inter-institutional collaborations, and research output, though concerns about inclusiveness and accessibility remain, particularly regarding gender equality. Recommendations for effective implementation include strengthening policy monitoring, enhancing faculty development programs, and bridging the gap between policy and practice. The insights from this study contribute to the existing literature and provide valuable guidance for policymakers to support the successful realization of NEP 2020's objectives, ultimately enhancing the quality and relevance of higher education in India.

EXPLORING THE IMPACT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ON VISUAL ARTS: TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS, MARKET DYNAMICS, ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS, AND HUMAN CREATIVITY

This research investigates the multifaceted impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on visual arts, drawing upon data collected from 18 respondents from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) and 16 respondents from the Royal College of Art (RCA). Employing a mixed-methods approach, including qualitative and quantitative analyses, the study examines the implications of AI-generated art for artistic practice, market valuation, ethical dilemmas, and collaborative creativity. Through interviews, focus groups, surveys, and observational studies conducted across art institutes, galleries, and AI research labs, the research identifies key themes such as the integration of AI technologies like GANs and transformer models in artistic processes, market acceptance, and valuation of AI-generated artworks. Findings reveal concerns about authorship, authenticity, and the displacement of human artists, with a mean rating of 8.0 for concerns about authorship in AI-generated art among SAIC respondents and 8.2 among RCA respondents. Additionally, the study highlights the collaborative potential of AI in enhancing human creativity. Overall, a balanced approach is essential to responsibly integrate AI in the art world, respecting ethical considerations while preserving the essence of human creativity amidst technological advancements.

Enhancing HR Well-being in Arizona

Human Resources (HR) professionals in Arizona navigate a dynamic and diverse economic landscape, balancing extensive responsibilities ranging from recruitment to compliance with labor laws. This study investigates the factors influencing motivation, job satisfaction, work-life balance, and stress management among HR professionals in Arizona. Using a mixed-methods approach, data was collected from 323 HR professionals through surveys and in-depth interviews. Key findings indicate that recognition, professional development, and alignment of personal and organizational values significantly predict job satisfaction (R² = 0.569). Flexible work arrangements positively impact job satisfaction (t (321) = 8.322, p < 0.001), while mindfulness practices and organizational support effectively reduce stress levels (F(2, 320) = 32.418, p < 0.001). Thematic analysis reveals challenges in legal compliance, economic diversification, and workforce management. The study underscores the importance of targeted organizational practices to enhance HR professionals' well-being and productivity.

The Impact of Stress on Academic Performance and Memory Recall in K12 Students: A Controlled Laboratory Study

This study investigates the effects of stress on the academic performance and memory recall of K12 students at UIS Academy, Arizona. Utilizing a laboratory experimental design, 60 students were randomly assigned to either a stress-free or high-stress environment. The stress-free environment aimed to create a relaxed setting, while the high-stress environment emphasized high expectations and fear of failure. The State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) measured anxiety levels, and standardized academic tests assessed performance and memory recall. Results indicated that students in the stress-free environment performed significantly better, with a mean test score of 86.23 compared to 70.87 in the high-stress condition (p < 0.001). Memory recall was also higher in the stress-free group (M = 12.23) than the high-stress group (M = 6.33, p < 0.001). Anxiety levels decreased in the stress-free condition but increased in the high-stress condition. These findings suggest that stress management interventions could enhance academic outcomes for K12 students.
